Socio-Legal Awareness and Aid Camps
NFIW Delhi is conducting a series of Socio-Legal Awareness camps across the city. This is an effort to reach out to people across the city and talk to them about the legal interventions that NFIW has already made and is working towards. A few of these meeting are being conducted in collaboration with SLIC (Socio-Legal Information Centre) of the Human Rights Law Network. HRLN is going to file cases of human rights abuse and deprivation of fundamental constitutional rights on a pro-bono basis.

The Legal Aid and Awareness Camp in Jafrabad, Janta colony was attended by around hundred women and old ladies.
Dr.Rushda Siddiqui, NFIW addressed people and spoke about Sati Pratha , Dowry, Sexual Harassment at Workplace Laws, Child Marriage, and Gender Based Violence
Advocates Kamran, Koi, Vinod and Nirmal from SLIC talked about other legal points which help women and men in life.
Deepti Bharti, GS Delhi NFIW, talked about the history struggle and achievements of NFIW to bring these and many other act, and how HRLN and NFIW are teaming up to to get justice for the marginazed in the community. Maharani, Vidy, Kesri and Savitri came to attend this camp from Trilokpuri.
The meeting was also addressed by Mahila panchayat members of the area.
